Children in Need

 All of us at Perseid would like to say a huge well done to both Lower and Upper School pupils for their generosity and efforts on Children in Need Day! Pupils came to school dressed in spots like Pudsey or in their pyjamas to raise money for the cause. Lower School enjoyed an afternoon screening of Despicable Me 2 and treats including popcorn, for which their families donated further. Upper School pupils took part in enrichment activities including a Bake Off and Doughnut Dangle and a special assembly to support their understanding about how the money we raise helps other children to be physically well, emotionally well, develop positive relationships and learn essential skills.

 It was a successful fundraising event and fantastic opportunity for pupils to gain an awareness of the challenges and difficulties of children around the world who are in need of help and support. Collectively, Perseid School raised over £230 for Children in Need and we would like to extend our thanks to the staff and families for their involvement.
