Upper School Council
School Council have been very busy this term, working together to make school an even better place in which they can learn. This term each school council member completed a school questionnaire, answering questions about lessons and learning, the Rights of the Child, well-being and the building works. The students gave very open and honest answers from which we were able to work together to make decisions on how to make things even better. School Council also took part in the Rights Respecting Schools steering group meeting with the Governors and Tina to discuss how to promote the Rights of the Child around school, since we have received the Bronze Rights Respecting School Award so well done to School Council and everyone else involved! Most recently, the School Council decided what we should do to raise money for Sport Relief. The students decided to take part in a 'Daley challenge', trying out new sports in addition to a non-uniform day wearing sports clothes and something red!
