6th Form Sports Week

Last week was Sports Week at Perseid School! 

 To support the pupils in sixth form to develop their knowledge around careers as they begin to prepare for adulthood, they joined a live assembly with 'Tech She Can' on the topic of Technology in Sport.

Tech She Can is a charity committed to changing the ratio of women in technology. The pupils learned all about technology in sport - including how it’s being used to train athletes and improve inclusion and also about a variety of future careers in these areas. 

 This was a great opportunity for pupils to develop their knowledge and skills around sport and technology as they prepare for adulthood.

To support the pupils in sixth form to develop their knowledge around health, friends and community as they begin to prepare for adulthood​, pupils also looked at different sports and fitness facilities they could use in the community including leisure centres for swimming, gym and yoga and public tennis and football facilities.
