A Busy First Half Term
This term, we welcomed nine new pupils to our Butterfly and Ladybird Nursery Classes in EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and have enjoyed getting to know them, their personalities, routines and interests as they settle in. Already, we have celebrated new milestones with pupils, including Jake who has begun feeding himself independently – all of Butterfly Class were very proud of his achievement. We also look forward to using our further extended EYFS playground space to make our EYFS continuous provision offer even better.
In Upper School, Year 7 pupils have settled well into Upper School, and all look very smart in their Upper School uniform! We have seen lots of smiles as well as lots of fun being had throughout the school day particularly in the playground – having fun on the slide, swings and with the scooters. All pupils have settled into their pathway groups well and are building new friendships with peers and relationships with staff. KS3 are immersed in their Wild for Africa creative curriculum topic and have
already produced some fantastic work which includes making rain
markers and clay eagles.
