Ama Wins Jack Petchey!

Ama received her Jack Petchey award this year.

The award was received for the following; 'Ama has shown growth in her ability to communicate with sounds and gestures, as well as persistence and perseverance when exploring how to use her iPad in different contexts (ie. on trips, in the dining hall, in lessons).This growth in confidence has enabled Ama to engage with her peers and familiar adults at Perseid more effectively.'

Ama thoroughly enjoys going on trips and spending time with her peers, which is why we have planned several trips for her and her class to enjoy for her prize. So far we have been companion cycling, and visited the London Eye and River Cruise. We look forward to visiting Bocketts farm, and enjoying a special lunch at the Harvester.
