Every year at Perseid School, we mark Anti-Bullying Week with a range of activities and assemblies, highlighting the importance of speaking out against bullying, and what to do in the case of bullying within our school.

A big focus of the week was defining what bullying is. Pupils then made a piece of a puzzle, this helped pupils to apply their knowledge and learning into practise: focusing on how we are all different but we all fit together.

We also made our own friendship recipes for qualities we like to see in our friends & used lots of sensory resources to represent characteristics such as smiles, laughter, patience. 

Our last activity was looking for similarities and differences between us and our peers, focusing on the story: ‘we are all different’. This celebrated our differences and promoted the beauty of diversity.
