Autumn Term Report: Sixth Form
Sport and Leisure
This term, 6th Form Kusama and Dali Class ventured to Morden Recreational Park, for Sport and Leisure outdoor fitness lessons and trail walking. The students really enjoyed walking around the parks and doing different activities, including using the gym area equipment in the park and participating in a scavenger hunt within the local community.
Enterprise
Planning and preparations are underway for the Winter Market. Pupils are working towards an accredited Enterprise unit at Entry Level 1.
Duke of Edinburgh
The focus this term is on volunteering. Some pupils are working on environmental issues, by litter picking, sorting recycling, planting seeds, making bird feeders and creating bug hotels.
Environmental Studies
Groups are learning about a variety of environments as part of their accredited work through outdoor learning. Careers Preparation for Adulthood lessons are taking place. Pupils are beginning to understand and learn about the essential skills needed as they prepare for adulthood.
Skills Builder
All pupils across upper school develop their knowledge and skills on the skill of the week during the weekly Enrichment assembly and within lessons and reflect in end of week assembly including certificates.
Work experience
Pupils across Upper school are engaging in a variety of work encounters both on and off-site throughout the term.
