Beat the Street
During March and April, we were invited to take part in the Beat the Street challenge.
Merton was transformed into a giant playground and students at upper school were invited to play! All school students received a Beat the Street map and game pack so they could take part in the Beat the Street game. Playing Beat the Street gets children, families and communities out and about in the local area, having fun together and keeping healthy. Being physically active improves physical and mental health and boosts mood, immunity and relieves stress.
Perseid won 1st place on the Morden Schools Average Points leaderboard and won a £150 voucher for Decathlon which will be used to buy more equipment for our outdoor learning spaces. Well done!
Chloe from Beat the Street will be coming into school during Sports Week to present our pupils with their trophy.
