Breaking Bread!

At the start of May, some Sixth Form students had a work encounter with a chef who taught the students about the journey of bread, from farm to plate.

The students explored wheat and then made their own bread roll which they took home. This was a great opportunity for the pupils to begin to understand the skills they would need to be a chef such as problem solving, creativity and staying positive in addition to developing their independence when cooking.
