Careers and Preparation for Adulthood

There will be on-going preparation for adulthood lessons for Sixth Form pupils to support their understanding of options with regards to their best next steps around the four PfA outcomes.

Pupils will be continuing to develop their essential skills within all lessons. Skill of the week each week is introduced in Enrichment Assemblies and last week's skill is reflected upon using skills builder floor books.

Year 14 Leavers will be preparing for their next step into further education through class discussions, transition books and transition links to college.

All pupils will be beginning to prepare for their transitions to new classes/pathways/key stages as appropriate through individualised transition programmes beginning the week of 2nd June 2025 and Move Up events.

Lower School Pupils will be continuing to develop their essential skills within all lessons. Skill of the week each week is introduced and reflected upon in whole school Assemblies and displayed around the school. Certificates are given to celebrate pupils' development of knowledge and skills towards the skill of the week.
