Careers in Sport

As part of National Careers Week, pupils were inspired by a visit from Louise Hunt, a British wheelchair tennis player, who led an assembly and Q&A about resilience, goal setting and careers in sport.

Pupils also visited a local tennis club with Sarah, our coach from the Tim Henman Foundation, applying the tennis skills they have been developing in school in a community setting. Sixth form sports coaches attended to extend their coaching skills and gain valuable work experience.
These experiences supported PfA outcomes: Employment and Community Inclusion while developing the Skills Builder Essential Skills of Self-Belief, Aiming High and Staying Positive.
