Celebrations
Over the summer holidays, we take time to reflect on key aspects of our school provision and the summer term.
The Achievement Awards Ceremony is an important event in the school calendar where Year 11, 13 and 14 learner accomplishments are celebrated with families, peers, staff and invited guests. The Year 14 leavers are also celebrated as they finish school and move onto the next step in their pathway to adulthood
The annual Upper School Disco returned this year on 14th July, 6-8pm, after a two year break due to Covid restrictions. The evening creates an opportunity for pupils to experience a social event, including the process of getting ready, going out, socialising including dancing and eating with peers.
The Lower School Disco took place on 18th July during the school day. The children had the opportunity to experience the disco with their peers and familiar adults. The disco marks the end of the academic year and gave pupils the opportunity to express themselves through dance, experiencing the same opportunities as mainstream peers.
