Children in Need

Every year, our school community comes together to raise money for Children in Need, a fantastic charity supporting children to be safe, happy, secure and enjoying the opportunities they need to reach their potential. Monies raised fund local charities and projects that help to remove barriers facing children and young people, enabling them to thrive.

This year, our pupils participated in Five to Thrive, a unique programme of wellbeing activities designed to help children feel good about themselves and help others. At Lower School, pupils were invited to come to school in clothes that make them feel comfortable and enjoy an in-class cinema! At Upper School, pupils came to school dressed in clothes they felt expressed themselves best – smart, sporty, casual, sleepwear and costume - we saw it all!

We were overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity displayed by our school and local community, as we raised over 200% more of our original target, and donated £603 to Children in Need.
