Perseid School

Christingle Celebrations

Every year, Perseid School celebrates the Christingle, a joyful celebration that brings communities together to spread a message of hope.

Each element of the Christingle holds special significance: the orange represents the world, the red ribbon symbolises love, the sweets and dried fruits represent the good things in the world around us and the lit candle signifies light in the world, bringing hope. In Lower and Upper School, Tina and Fiona each led a Christingle Assembly and the pupils created beautiful Christingles to take home, and we would like to say a special thank you to Morden Sainsburys and Ross’s Fruiters in Worcester Park for their orange donations.
