My sister and I are running the Brighton Marathon to raise funds for Perseid School, a special educational needs school where I, and my sister previously, have worked for the past 8 years. Perseid is dedicated to supporting students with complex and severe learning difficulties and I am constantly in awe of the incredible experiences, opportunities and progress the pupils make. The staff at the school are exceptional, providing a nurturing and inspiring environment where every child’s potential is recognised and supported. This is constantly shown through the pupils enjoyment within school. I have always been proud to be part of such a dedicated team and by running this marathon, I hope to further support the school and pupils.
