Learning Music at Lower!

At Lower School,  pupils have been enjoying exploring classical music through our theme of musical journeys.

So far this term, pupils have boarded in a space rocket and explored Mars from The Planet Suite,  ventured on a Ship and explored "Storm" from Peter Grimes, and (the most popular!), in fast car and explored "A Short Ride in a Fast Machine". 

Pupils have created their own music based on these themes using drums, keyboards and soundbeam, it has been great to see the pupils engaged in their learning, and enjoying making their own music at the same time.  All these pieces and more can be found on https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/qt76WSzksPSPmkj9tbV0p9/the-pieces-and-composers​ along with short films about the music.
