Lending Library

The Lending Library is located in Head of School Becky’s office, and each pathway has an allocated time where pupils can go and choose a book once a week, using their library card.

The date and name of the book will be written on the library card and pupils are able to keep the book as long as they want and once it is returned to school, we discuss if they liked the book or not and pupils share their thoughts with the class.

 The purpose of the Lending Library is to encourage and support children to access more reading time.

Children were really excited to go to the library during their pathway time and enjoyed choosing the different books. We look forward to changing the books frequently so that pupils have a variety of choice, and welcome donations.
