Lower School Cake Sale

In October, Lower School held a cake sale to raise money for Genesis Academy, our link school in Jamaica. School Council took a leading role in the preparations for the cake sale, collectively deciding on the recipient of our proceeds and allocating each class a selection of cakes to bake.

The hall looked fantastic as each classroom presented delicious cakes and colourful banners promoting their treats and many pupils took on important roles in the afternoon – they were responsible for collecting tokens from their peers and bagging and plating up cakes. It was a wonderful afternoon that many parents joined us for, with an atmosphere filled with fun, enjoyment and generosity as we raised over £156 to help support our friends at the Genesis Academy.
