Parental Survey
We conducted a parent survey to gauge individual ideas of your child's experience at Perseid School. We were delighted with the feedback received, as it provides both senior leadership and our governors with an indicator of how the school is progressing towards our targets, and highlights key areas for improvement. Together with School Council surveys, we gain valuable insight into pupils' experiences - this is fundamentally important to us when reviewing pupil support and progress and also when set against our own goal, of providing pupils with an outstanding educational provision.
We were thrilled to learn that the vast majority of parents believe that their child is happy and safe in school, as we make tremendous effort in ensuring that every child enjoys their learning experience and feel valued. Families believe that Perseid School is well led and managed, cementing our belief that a strong network of staff and senior leadership has contributed to the success of the school, and the Ofsted report remark: 'Leaders successful drive for excellence has sustained outstanding teaching, achievement, behaviour and safety for all students'.
Parents believe that staff treat their children fairly, and agree that staff encourage children to become mature and independent. Lastly, and one of our biggest achievements, was to learn that all respondents would recommend this school to others. This is overwhelming feedback, and we look forward to conducting more in the future.
An area highlighted indicated that some parents wanted more information about their child's progress. As always, we will reflect on what more we can put in place to meet this need.
