Parrot Class Creative Curriculum

In January, pupils in Parrot Class had an exciting Curriculum Day, where they explored their new topic. The whole class had a wonderful time engaging in their rainforest classroom! They made Salt dough sensory animals, rainforest art and explored rainforest sensory trays throughout the day.

Throughout this half term, pupils in Parrot Class have enjoyed many exciting learning opportunities to bring their learning to life. 

When learning about rainforest animals, the class enjoyed getting stuck in to some face paints, creating snakes and finding lizards in jelly!

In the final week of term, pupils had a lovely time learning about life in the Amazon Rainforest. They used drums to create sounds which the Amazonian people make using their drums! They listening to drumming sounds, and tried to copy and then made their own Rainforest shakers.
