Swimming Gala 2022!

On Thursday the 7th of July, we took 6 very excited swimmers to the the long awaited, twice postponed South London Panathlon Swimming Gala. 

The event was held at the London Aquatic Centre and pupils were incredibly lucky and excited to be swimming in the diving pool used for the 2012 Olympics. There was a wide range of races including 25m freestyle to a raft race and treasure hunt, it was organised really well with lots of helpers both in and out of the water.

Perseid pupils all wore purple swim hats they looked good and swam well, they were definitely the loudest when it came to cheering their teammates on.  

It was a brilliant day, all the teams had a lot of fun. At the prize giving the organizers congratulated all the pupils for their great efforts and presented them with medals and framed certificate to put up at school. Perseid School did really well and we are proud to announce that they came fourth overall. 

The people in the team were Milli, Asma, Kallam, Hassan, Albino and Humza .
