The Monster and The Bird – Polka 40 Project

This year, Red Pathway were selected to take part in the Polka 40 project, which was an opportunity to see and experience live theatre before devising their own show using the props Polka theatre left behind as a stimulus.

Earlier this month, Red Pathway performed their show, ‘The Monster and The Bird’ to their families and to representatives of Polka Theatre and Funders of the project and performed to the whole school.

Red Pathway used the props to create their own show. They made choices about absolutely everything in the show from the story, to costumes, to props, to the actions, sounds and music. The pupils were so proud to share their work with their friends and families.

The show was a huge success and we would like to thank Polka Theatre for their continued support.
