Universal Children's Day

Last Friday, pupils in KS3 and KS4 had an enrichment assembly focused on Universal Children's Day.

Pupils came together to discuss their rights as children and discuss their rights and explore the topic of being safe and supported. Pupils worked in teams to create a sculpture out of newspaper which had to be secure enough to hold an egg off the table. It was great to see the pupils engaged in the activity and inspired by the discussion. Pupils were very pleased with their work and enjoyed discussing how secure they feel at school and who helps them to feel safe.
