Upper School Christmas Showcase
On the 18th December, Upper School took to the stage for their long awaited Christmas Showcase. Sixth Form students opened the show with a portrayal of the Winter Soundscape, with Head Boy Daniel using his eye gaze technology to narrate the story. This was then followed by KS3 performance of ‘Christmas in Africa’, an outstanding display of song, dance and music, with traditional African drums and costume.
KS4 shone in their musical theatre performance of ‘Winter Wonderland’, proving their spectacular dance skills—we loved their festive outfits too! A beautiful rendition of Moon River was sung by Sixth Form pupils, who closed their performance with one pupils talents on the drums and a dance piece.
KS3 treated the audience with their production of ‘Blue Christmas’ and their skills on the drums with ‘Little Drummer Boy. Hats off to the last performance of the showcase - a fantastic ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ that really got us in the festive spirit!
Well done to all of the pupils who participated in the show and displayed all of their talents and skills, it was the perfect way to celebrate both Christmas and our mark the end of a fantastic year for our pupils. Lastly, we would like to thank our staff for their hard work and dedication in making the showcase possible and our parents and families for your ongoing support.
