Visit to Hornimans

Parrot Class went on a wonderful trip earlier this month, travelling on the school minibuses to Forest Hill, to visit the Horniman Museum & Gardens, as part of their Creative Curriculum topic of Ancient Egypt.
Pupils enjoyed visiting the World Gallery, where they saw Tutankhamun, Egyptian Paintings, a Live African Market Place and a Giant Camel! There was also lots to see in the Natural History Areas with Animals. Parrot Class then went travelling outside to the Gardens, where they were on the hunt for the Egyptian Papyrus Plant, via the sound garden and mini farm!
There were lots of lovely views of London to take in as they went around. It was a wonderful day out and learning experience for the pupils.
