Work Encounters

On Monday, Upper School pupils engaged in a work encounter with Crystal, a Music Therapist!

Crystal told the pupils all about her job, the essential skills she uses in her role, who she works with, where she works and what route she followed to become a Music Therapist. Pupils then enjoyed joining in with an activity where they used instruments to portray different feelings and emotions.

Work Encounters are important as they support our pupils to link their learning of essential skills in school to the wider world and gain insight into the world of work as they prepare for their best next step into adulthood. #LifeAtPerseid
