Councillor David Chung Visits Perseid!

We were delighted to host Councillor David Chung to Perseid Lower School last week, as he made a generous donation to the school. On behalf of the Mayor of Merton's Charitable Trust, the Trust donated £300 to Perseid School, from monies raised during Councillor David Chung's mayoral year (2015/16).

Councillor Chung chose to make this donation in recognition of the valuable work that Perseid has undertaken, and we are incredibly grateful for his generosity. We are lucky enough to put this toward the creation of our Growing Garden and Pet Area, and invited him to visit so we could express our gratitude in person. Last Thursday, members of the School Council showed Councillor David Chung the garden that he donated to.
