DofE Final Expedition

Recently, we brought you news of our current Year 14 pupils efforts in achieving the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. Over the last year, pupils have had opportunities in a wide range of fields, including sports, volunteering, hospitality, catering and hair and beauty - before preparing for the expedition aspect of the award.

Before embarking on their expedition, pupils took part in activities including orienteering, nature crafts, how to use a camping stove, health and safety, first aid and how to pack an expedition bag. It is with great pleasure that we let our wider community know that six of our pupils achieved the full DofE Bronze Award after their expedition, and three pupils have achieved 3/4 stages of the award.

Pupils will be presented with their award in April 2018 - we can't wait to celebrate their achievements together!
