Rambert Imprints Programme

Throughout the Rambert Imprints Programme, KS4 and 6th Form pupils worked with Natalie from Rambert, to produce a response piece to A Linha Curva. The project included ten 90 minute lessons, a trip to Sadlers Wells to watch a Rambert performance and a visit to their studios. Whilst at the studios, pupils toured the rehearsal studios, the Rambert archives and costume department, and participated in a dance session with a Rambert animator. The pupils were exceptionally behaved, asked lots of questions and were a credit to the school.

The final performance took place in the Clore Ballroom at the Southbank Centre on April 17th; Matthew, Danogika, Daniel, Aman and Adnan participated in the final performance alongside eight other schools. Their performance was wonderful, their hard work paid off and we were so impressed with how the pupils helped and supported one another during the dance. It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to learn new skills and perform to a really high standard, and we look forward to working with Rambert again in the future.
