Upper School Christmas Market

On Friday December 1st 2017, Upper School held their annual Christmas Market for pupils, staff and local community. The Christmas Market provides the perfect opportunity to raise money for Redearth Education, highlighting the real meaning of Christmas - goodwill to all.

In preparation for the event, pupils worked hard to create wonderful gifts to sell at the market, and staff decorated our dining hall with paper Christmas trees and hanging decorations for a festive feel - the overall effect was brilliant!

From 10am, the market was packed, with pupils, staff and families enjoying the wonderful market and purchasing handmade gifts, including Gingerbread Houses, Oreo Snowmen, refreshments, cakes, treats, Christmas tree decorations, twig Christmas trees, Christmas cards and so much more. It is a great way for Perseid School to celebrate Christmas with our local community and the creativity and talents of our artistic students.

The event was highly successful and we are thrilled to be able to donate the proceeds of over £500 to Redearth Education, a charity that aims to bring high quality education to every girl and boy in rural Uganda.
